Who we are

This website is operated by Christopher Goodsell trading as Get The F*ck Out of Here. Contact: christopher@goilx.com

What we collect and why

Email address — collected when you request free AI access. Used to grant you access to the AI chat feature and, with your implicit consent, to send you relevant updates about the book. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us.

Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data: stripe.com/privacy

Chat messages — questions you submit to the AI are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies: anthropic.com/privacy

Usage data — Vercel (our hosting provider) may collect standard server logs including IP addresses for security and performance purposes.

Facebook Pixel — if enabled, we use Meta's Pixel to measure the effectiveness of advertising. This tracks PageView, Lead, and Purchase events. You can opt out via your Meta ad preferences.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies. No advertising cookies are set by this website directly. Stripe and Meta (Facebook Pixel) may set their own cookies subject to their respective policies. We do not use tracking cookies for analytics beyond what is described above.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the processors listed above (Stripe, Anthropic, Vercel, Meta) and only as necessary to provide the service.

Data retention

Email addresses are retained until you request deletion. Payment records are retained as required by law (typically 7 years for financial records). Chat logs are not stored by us — Anthropic's retention policies apply.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, request correction or deletion, object to processing, and request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email christopher@goilx.com. We will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
